Drop-in style group walks that focus on improving your training skills around other dogs, people and distractions.
The drop-in style of these walks is to ensure that there is a variety of environments, activities, and participants. These walks are an hour long, focusing on building engagement with your dog while practicing common training struggles such as obedience cues, loose leash walking, patience, socialization and more! You will be with an inclusive group of like-minded people who are each on their own training journey.
A drop-in fee of $15 applies for each dog participant. This can be paid via cash, e-transfer or credit.
This is open to everyone! Our goal is to provide an easily accessible way for everyone to work with their dog. Puppies can gain from positive socialization, reactive dogs can keep their distance, older dogs can learn new tricks! If your dog has severe reactivity, check out our Reactivity Essentials Workshop.

Yes! Reactive dogs are welcome to attend. If you are struggling, increase your distance from the main group. One of our trainers will check in with you to make sure that you are on the right path and answer any questions that you may have. Don't let reactivity stop you from coming! If you have a dog that has a bite history or is a potential bite risk - we do ask that you muzzle your dog for the safety of everyone.
Treats, poop bags, and a willingness to have fun! If your dog is motivated by toys, please feel free to bring a ball/tug toy as well. Your treats should be super high value as this is a distracting environment. In the warmer months, bug spray and sunscreen are good to have with you as well. All equipment is welcome, this is a judgement-free zone, however we do ask that you do not use a flexi/extendable leash for safety purposes.
No! We focus on general obedience for the most part, but the exercises and games can differ from walk to walk. Some things may be similar if you attend several walks, but we encourage you to work on those skills further by increasing your dog's duration in their position or increasing your distance from your dog when cueing a position.
Not necessarily, these walks are meant as a tool to aid in your training. For some, coming to lots of these walks and learning the various tips and tricks provided is enough to guide them through their dog's behaviour. Lots of dogs need more of an intensive program, but this is a great way to get started and to ask us questions!
