Practicing obedience cues with the addition of games, agility basics, and rally obedience drils.
This class runs during the colder months of the year (October - April) at an indoor venue. Each registration includes a 1 hour private training session prior to the class start date, the goal of this session is to get you started before entering the high distraction setting of class and to address your specific questions and training needs. Following your private session, you will join us for 6 weeks of 45 minute classes once per week. These classes will be held in an arena between Calgary and Airdrie, directly West of Balzac.
This class is $300 and includes a one-on-one private training session, 6 group classes, as well as email/text support.
This class is ideal for all ages and skill levels. Puppies will benefit from the socialization, practicing basic and new cues, as well as learning how to focus and engage with their owner. Dogs who know the basics but are struggling with leash pulling, recall, distractions or anything else will benefit from the communication skills and relationship building that you will experience.
The topics covered in this class include all of the essential cues that your dog needs, as well as some rally obedience and agility foundations for some fun and confidence building! We cover basic and advanced cues, recall, loose leash walking, equipment types and their safe uses, proper greetings and introductions, confidence building, body awareness, games and activities for enrichment, hand signals, body language, socialization, working around distractions, patience, impulse control, prey drive, types of rewards, and more!
